You are kindly asked to select and book accommodation for yourself. The organizers will book accommodation only for those participants who are on the list of invited speakers on the conference homepage. Budapest has a vast hotel/accommodation market, and you can surely find a place which is matching your expectations and budget. We would like to call the attention of the participants to the fact that June is high season for tourism, so we suggest to make your reservation sufficiently well in advance. On this page, we make only some recommendations.

The main conference Hotel will be Danubius Hotel Flamenco. This is the Hotel where we plan to accommodate the invited speakers. This is a larger hotel in a quiet residential area. The Department of Stochastics of the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, which is handling financial tasks and reservations has a long-standing and good experience with this Hotel. A little drawback of this place is that you will have to use public transportation to go to the Rényi Institute. You might also want to walk at least once from the Hotel to the institute here there is a recommended quite a spectacular walk/hike plan from the Hotel across Gellért hill to the Institute. (Length 4.29 km, elevation going up 151 m, GPX track ).

Apart from the main Hotel here is a list of some smaller Hotels not far from the Rényi Institute. These are in the downtown area so it may happen that you will be surrounded with a bit too much nightlife.

Hotel Peregrinus.
Hotel Kálvin Ház.
City Hotel Pilvax (we never had guests here but looks reasonable).
Hotel Erzsébet City Center (we never had guests here but looks reasonable, belongs to the same chain as the main Hotel).
